Dame Esmeralda faces a step up in class tonight, but she has been racing extremely well and looms as a live each-way chance ($9 at publish). The daughter of Magic Sprite hit the line well to finish second at Bundaberg two starts back before mustering a keen turn of foot to easily break her maiden over 395m here at Albion Park last time out. The rise in trip looks ideal and with even luck, she can fight out the finish.
Super Cesc will carry winning form into the fourth at Albion Park tonight and looks as the one to beat again. The Fabregas three-year-old ran into early interference when fifth here two starts back, but atoned with an utterly dominant performance last time out and a repeat of that effort would see him winning again.
Eli Red Fawn has returned several pleasing efforts and results this time and strikes another winnable one in Brisbane tonight. The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale strolled in to win at Ipswich three back and he has continued to improve as Philip Cassidy has raised the bar. He can make all of his own luck from box 2 and will take a power of beating.
Farmor On Fire will appreciate a drop in class at Albion Park tonight and will take plenty of beating. The classy son of Barcia Bale strung together two impressive wins last month but hasn’t had the best of luck at his two most-recent efforts. This is the first time in a while we’ve been able to take a price and I’m confident he’s ready to win again.
