That's A Thursday Night!

Round 1 proved harder to pick than a nose after a walk through the desert, But plenty of upside for all clubs heading into Round 2 and the action is underway at the G tonight!

The loss of Alex Rance is obviously massive, but Richmond still did enough to comfortably see off Carlton first-up and remain warm favourites to beat the Pies tonight.

There’s plenty to like about all nine Round 2 games, but tonight’s clash could prove to be the standout fixture of the entire weekend.

Round 3 Right Now

It’s hard to believe that we’ve already reached Round 3 of the NRL season – it feels like we’ll blink and Origin time will already be upon us!

The action is underway in Brisbane tonight when the Broncos attempt to make it two-in-a-row at the expense of a Dragons side that is yet to get off the mark.

Dragons Coach Paul McGregor has confirmed that he’ll stick with this bizarre decision to play quality number 6 Gareth Widdop at fullback but St George will be quietly confident of getting the result, with memories of last year’s finals thrashing of Brisbane still firmly in mind.

Brave Effort Abroad

Multiple Group 1 champion Brave Smash is reportedly relishing his time in Dubai ahead of Saturday night’s Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint (1200m) on World Cup Night.

The former Japanese galloper has drawn a central barrier for his run down the straight and owners Australian Bloodstock and trainer Kris Lees remain confident that he’ll find cover in transit from the position.
