SAVOUR THE MOMENT! THE AUSSIES GET RARE ODI AWAY WIN.

The partnership of 193 runs between  Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch got Australia over the line with a 32 run victory in Ranchi overnight.

At one stage it was looking like Indian skipper Virat Kohli was on the way to bring India home with 123 runs from 95 balls but Adam Zampa managed to stop it, along with a solid 3/70.

Kholi was holding India up scoring his 41st ODI century for his career, but the combination of Khawaja and Finch got the job done for the Aussies.

Khawaja scored his first ODI century with an outstanding 104 of 113 runs giving justification on putting him at the top order.

Aaron Finch was close to getting a century as well but fall LBW for 93 from 99 balls.

This was Australia’s first away ODI win since September 2017 in Bangalore.

Oh, and there was also an issue with the DRS with the ball tracking appearing to show two different balls on the same ball-tracking display.

What could possib-ly go wrong?

We’d normally be outraged, but given Austalia won it’s not as bad.

Finally, some good news for Australian Rugby Fans!

Despite Optus making a last minute play, the TV rights for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in Japan has been awarded to both FOX Sports and Channel 10.

There were fears that Optus, who completely botched up their World Cup coverage and ended up giving all the games to SBS would get them but common sense has prevailed.

According to the press releases, FOX Sports will broadcast “All matches of the prestigious tournament will be available live and ad-break free during play on a dedicated channel and, for the first time, live in 4K Ultra HD, exclusive for Foxtel sports subscribers*”

Channel 10 will broadcast 10 of the best games, every Wallabies game and the finals.

The Rugby World Cup starts on September 20th with the final on Saturday, November, 2nd – also known as Derby Day.
