Australia’s all-time leading goal scorer Tim Cahill has confirmed his retirement from professional football.
A player adored by fans for the best part of two decades, Cahill has enjoyed a glittering career that was highlighted by many seasons in the Premier League and his record-breaking exploits on the international stage.
Cahill retired from international football in 2018, but this morning confirmed that he will not seek another contract from Indian side Jamshedpur.
Re-live this banger as many times as required:

The chill down the spine of the Richmond faithful must have hit a new level last night, when Round 1’s season-ending injury to key defender Alex Rance was compounded by a heavy loss to Collingwood.
Clear premiership favourites prior to Round 1’s opening bounce, Richmond have slipped to the third line of outright betting behind the Pies ($5) and West Coast ($7).

It’s Muswellbrook Gold Cup Day and we’re set for an exciting day of racing at the New South Wales country course.
Eight races will be run and won in total, but the feature has drawn a typically smart field of middle-distance specialists that will seek their share in a $100,000 purse.
