Flemington: Race 3 (11:55am AEDT)
No. 7 She's So High

She’s So High absolutely flies fresh and strikes a winnable one first-up at Flemington this morning. The quality mare is in fact yet to taste anything but success first-up and won the Listed Incognitus Stakes (1100m) down the Flemington straight when resuming last autumn. She’s trialled well in the lead-up to this race and looks ready to go.

Flemington: Race 6 (1:35pm AEDT)
No. 3 Widgee Turf

Widgee Turf produced an eye-catching turn of foot to run on for third at this track and distance first-up and will be tough to hold out in the sixth at HQ today. The talented son of Turffontein has recorded nine wins and eleven minors through his twenty-five career starts to date and starred for Patrick Payne in 2018. He has been charged with overcoming several talented rivals today, but he has plenty of upside and is up to winning a race of this calibre.

No. 3 Microphone

Microphone is just one of the many outstanding two-year-olds at James Cummings and Godolphin’s disposal this season and he can continue his winning run of form through this afternoon’s Skyline Stakes. The Exceed And Excel colt has continued to improve with racing; winning a smart 1000m dash down the Flemington straight on debut before finishing second behind the quality I Am Immortal in the Listed Blue Diamond Prelude C&G (1000m). His win in the Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) was bullish and bad luck looks his major danger today.

No. 5 Fifty Stars

Fifty Stars looked like a horse that was crying out for a step up in trip last time out and he’ll get that in this afternoon’s Blamey Stakes. The former Weir galloper was outstanding last time in and resumed this time with a credible performance for sixth in the Group 2 Australia Stakes (1200m). His last-start effort in the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes (1400m) was far better than his eleventh-placing suggested and he’s drawn to get a beautiful run today with Benny Allen aboard.
