Limburg Patrick faces a small step up in class into the tenth at The Meadows, but he has been racing extremely well and looks over the odds at his current price ($16 at publish). The son Magic Sprite did take a few runs to find his best form this time, but he has dominated his last two runs at Bendigo and Geelong and is primed for another big performance today.
Sweet Pursuit has only made two appearances at the races so far, but she has more than stamped herself as a runner to follow and looks well placed to win again this afternoon. A daughter of Fabregas, Sweet Pursuit raced greenly but still worked home well to finish third on debut at Lismore last month but recorded a dominant six-length win last time out. She’ll only improve today and Box 1 looks ideal.
Gaz’s Girl is yet to taste anything but success and can continue her rise through the grades by winning the tenth at Albion Park this evening. The daughter of Shakey Jakey was too good for a maiden field here on debut late last month, but her most-recent effort was even more dominant and she’ll take plenty of beating again here.
Nangar Diva has been airborne this time and can hopefully send us out a winner at Wentworth Park again this evening. The two-year-old has only continued to improve with racing, but her two most-recent efforts that both resulted in dominant wins suggested that she has now found peak condition. Her form from outside is great and she looks the one to beat.
