The consistent Bigtime Lizzy will step out in the eleventh at Hatrick this afternoon and will be tough to beat from Box 1. The two-year-old hasn’t finished outside the places in her six most-recent appearances and her seven-length win at Wanganui two starts back was easily the best of her career to date. A repeat of that effort would see her winning this.
Esther’s Star has continued to build to the task recently and looks ready to win at a nice price at Wentworth Park tonight. The two-year-old was caught wide three starts back at Maitland and was unable to get into the race, but she’s worked home well to finish in the places at her two most-recent starts, both in Grade 5 company. The inside box is ideal, and she’ll take a power of beating.
Miss Wing Wong will carry winning form into the fifth tonight and with even luck, can fight out the finish again. The daughter of Barcia Bale hasn’t finished outside of the first three in her four most-recent starts and her last effort, a dominant six length win at this track and distance suggested that she has found peak condition.
Back Up #3 Dam Slippery
Dam Slippery has been airborne of late and is seeking a fourth-consecutive win. As the clear danger, I’ll happily use my daily Back Up
Lulu Forty has been a strong and consistent performer this time and looks ready to win at Wentworth Park this evening. The daughter of Forty Twenty was well beaten by the winner but hit the line well to finish second over 515m at The Gardens two starts back, before she again hit the line well for a close-up second last time out. If she steps well from the wide box, she’ll be tough to beat.
