Morse has been flying this time in and looks tough to beat at Gosford again tonight. The son of Spring Gun put together three impressive wins through January and February, including two here at Gosford, before a tough run for fifth in a far tougher race. He returned to the winner’s stall with a dominant win at Maitland last time out and a repeat of that performance would see him tough to beat again.
Lochinvar Dynamo has been a strong and consistent performer this time and strikes another very winnable one today. The one-year-old simply got too far back last time out but hit the line well to finish a credible third, and there was a lot to like about his dominant win at The Gardens the week prior. He’ll need to step well from the outside box, but still looks the one to beat.
Werina Magic faces a step up in class at Gosford tonight, but has been racing extremely well and looks over the odds at her current price ($8 at publish). The son of Spring Gun recorded three impressive wins in succession through February and overcame some early interference to finish third at this track and distance two back. He returned to winning form with another smart performance at The Gardens last time out and can stay away from trouble tonight from his inside draw.
My Halo has the best stats at this track and distance of any dog in the last tonight and will hard to beat again. The two-year-old scored here with ease three starts back and only just missed at her two most-recent efforts. She should be able to navigate to a nice position from Box 2 and should prove typically tough to beat.
