Gold Grace didn’t enjoy the decreased trip when she failed to reel in her rivals last start but will enjoy a return to her pet trip of 331m at Albion Park tonight and looks hard to beat. The daughter of Paw Licking strolled home to record a couple of smart wins at this track and distance three and four runs back, before flying home again to finish a close second behind Magic Code two starts box. She’s interestingly never jumped from Box 1, but inside draws have typically been good for her.
Heat Up will carry winning form into the eighth at Albion Park tonight and looks a live chance again at a nice price. The three-year-old daughter of Fabregas resumed from a break to finish third at the track and distance earlier this month before putting her rivals to the sword, to the tune of five lengths here last week. She’ll only improve into this race and will take beating again.
Master Kinloch is seeking a second-consecutive win in the tenth at Albion Park tonight and will be tough to beat from Box 1. The two-year-old was a smart winner here three back and is unlucky not to be chasing his fourth win in a row here, having hit the line to finish a head second two starts back, despite being unwanted in the market. This looks an easier task and he’ll be hard to run down.
