The Breakers suffered two defeats to the in-form Melbourne United last week but are offered an excellent opportunity to respond when they host Adelaide this evening. It certainly hasn’t been the best season on record for the Breakers, but they’ve remained a difficult road trip for the rest of the league and face an Adelaide side that has been reasonably inconsistent. They can cover a small line currently set at only 2 points.
The league-leading Hurricanes host the Melbourne Renegades tonight and look primed for another big performance and win. It has been a glittering season for the Tasmania-based franchise this time around and they have dropped only three of their twelve games so far. They will have their hands full with the Renegades, who are all but confirmed for a finals berth of their own, but the home side should simply be too good.
