Lacazette has produced a couple of eye-catching performances in her short racing career and can break her maiden in the second at Bendigo today. The Fastnet Rock filly stamped herself as one to watch when he worked home well to finish second at Sandown on debut but was luckless second up over 1300m and finished towards the tail of the field. Her run for third at Moonee Valley last time out was full of merit and she looks ready to do something fourth-up.
Walk The Talk will take plenty of benefit into his second-up run at Bendigo today and looks over the odds at his current price ($8 at publish). The Nicconi gelding recorded consecutive wins to conclude his winter preparation and worked home well to finish third at Sale two weeks ago. With Lewis German aboard he’ll enjoy a drop in the weights today and he can slot in behind the pace from barrier 10, before calling on his turn of foot.
Chouxting The Mob will carry winning form into the sixth at Bendigo today and looks the one to beat again. The son of Jimmy Choux has continued to improve with racing this time; shaking off the cobwebs when fifth at Geelong first-up and running second in an 1850m race before winning at Kyneton most-recent. He still looks to have some upset and does have an edge over today’s rivals on class.
Alessandro is first-up since spring but showed outstanding ability during his debut preparation and can return a winner. The Fiorente colt flew home to win at Pakenham on debut before returning from a freshen up to finish fifth at Benalla. His most-recent performance to win in open company at Cranbourne was the best of his career so far and at his best, he does look to have an edge over today’s rivals.
