Marton Fucsovics vs James Duckworth (approx. 12pm AEDT)
Fucsovics 2-0 ($1.91)

The Sydney International continues today and I am confident that Marton Fucsovics can end James Duckworth’s tournament with relative ease. The Hungarian hadn’t played in Australia at ATP level prior to last year’s Open but was able to battle the heat to an impressive berth in the Round of 16 before going down to Roger Federer. This is a player that I give a live chance of winning the Sydney International at long odds ($21) and he can stamp his intentions by beating Duckworth in straight sets.

Alabama vs Clemson (12:05pm AEDT)
Crimson Tide (-6)

After a whirlwind college football season, we’re now down to just 2 teams – Alabama and Clemson. We’ve ridden Alabama for the majority of this season to pretty solid success and although they didn’t cover last week, they were in control for nearly the whole game. Tua Tagovailoa is playing at a different level right now and gives the Tide the best QB they’ve had in the Saban era. They can cover a line currently set at only six points.

Sydney Thunder vs Brisbane Heat (7:15pm AEDT)
Heat to Win ($2)

Tonight looms as a great opportunity for both the Thunder and Heat, but I am confident that the away side can make it two-in-a-row for the first time this season. The Heat were typically slow from the gates this season, but they’ll have taken plenty of confidence from a comfortable victory over the Scorchers in Perth and face a Thunder side tonight that have won only one of their four most-recent games.
