One of the better contests of the round looks like materialising in the south of England this morning when Southampton hosts Crystal Palace. Palace have been a legitimate thorn in the side of some of the league’s bigger clubs this season and they were genuinely unlucky not to take anything from their seven-goal thriller with Liverpool last week. I give them a serious chance of winning this, and they can certainly muster a draw.
We’re set for a thrilling content between the Penguins and Lightning in Pittsburgh today, but I am confident that the away side can continue their outstanding form and record another win. The Lightning have been the league benchmark almost all season and enter this one on top of the Atlantic Division and overall standings, and off the back of another win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. The $2.30 currently on offer looks a terrific price.
The league-leading Hurricanes can all but end the Strikers chances of defending their title by winning tonight’s Big Bash game in Hobart. Its been a truly glittering season for the Hurricanes, who have dropped only two games throughout their campaign and who remain clear favourites in outright betting to secure their first ever Big Bash title this season. D’Arcy Short has been a star at the top of the order again and will be eager to have an impact tonight.
