Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Renegades (7:15pm AEDT)
Heat to Win ($1.90)

It might be as a result of Duckworth-Lewis, but the Heat are staring down the barrel of three-consecutive wins and they’ll be confident of making that a reality when they host a pretty inconsistent Melbourne Rebels side tonight. The Bash Brothers gave the Heat an outstanding start against the Thunder on Tuesday and while they barely got a bowl, it was enough for their side to take the spoils. In front of their home crowd, I think they can get the job done tonight.

Illawarra Hawks vs Adelaide 36ers (7:50pm AEDT)
Hawks (-1.5)

The Hawks produced one of their best performances of the season to beat the table-topping Sydney Kings last weekend and while they do remain seventh in overall standings, there is plenty of scope to continue climbing. The 36ers have been pretty inconsistent all season; they are 9-9 and were disappointing losers at home and against the Breakers in Round 12. A repeat of that performance would see them comfortably losing this one, as well. The Hawks can cover a line currently set at only 1.5 points.

Daily Multi
Predators, Flames Both to Win
Combined Odds of $3.42

We watched our two-leg NHL multi walk in with complete ease yesterday and I am confident of a similar result today. The Nashville Predators remain within a couple of games of top spot in the Central Division and should be too good for the Blackhawks today, even on the road. The Flames lead the way in the Pacific Division and are a class above today’s rivals, the Colorado Avalanche.
