Despite an excellent start to the campaign, the Rams really did stumble towards the end. If Todd Gurley isn’t 100%, this offence can go downhill fast. Dallas has also found a formula that works of late, pounding Zeke Elliott all game long. The Rams defence has been susceptible to the run this season and could be vulnerable against this excellent Cowboys rushing attack. Jared Goff’s recent struggled also make me question whether he can hang with this strong Cowboys defence.
The return leg of last weekend’s fixture will see the Kings host the Hawks in Sydney on Sunday afternoon. This will be the second game for both clubs in Round 13 and it is two completely different stories. The Hawks were beaten at home by an inconsistent Adelaide outfit on Thursday, while the Kings delivered the Breakers an eight-point defeat on Friday. The Kings can cover a line currently set at only 5 points.
The league-leading Perth Glory asserted their dominance again when they sent the third-placed Sydney FC home on the wrong-end of a 3-1 score line midweek. On everything that they have so-far achieved this season, they should be beating the Wanderers with relative ease tonight.
