Moruya: Race 3 (2:10pm AEDT)
No. 6 No Doubt Ma'am

No Doubt Ma’am will carry plenty of benefit into her second-up assignment at Moruya today and is up to winning a race of this calibre at great odds ($12 at publish). The four-year-old was caught at the tail of the field first-up but worked home well to finish a credible fifth, and her second-up form has typically been strong. She can settle slightly closer today from barrier 7 and would not look out of place in the winner’s stall.

Kempsey: Race 3 (3:10pm AEDT)
No. 1 Dreamy Belle

Dreamy Belle has improved through her two starts this time and simply will not be offered a better opportunity to break her maiden. The Dream Ahead mare hit the line fairly after a tough run in transit at Gosford first-up, before flying home to finish a close second at Newcastle last time. 1000m looks perfect, she’s drawn well and will be in the finish with even luck.

Moruya: Race 6 (4:10pm AEDT)
No. 5 Tiger By The Tale

Tiger By The Tale has been pretty inconsistent this season but at his best, he is capable of winning a race like the Moruya Town Plate and he is rock-hard fit for today’s assignment. The Tale Of The Cat gelding has been a good performer for Danny Williams throughout his career and has recorded several decent results in Highway Handicaps and races of that quality. He can take up the running today and will give them something to chase ($8 at publish).

Moruya: Race 7 (4:50pm AEDT)
No. 6 Animalia

Animalia will carry winning form into the Moruya Cup and looms as the horse to beat. Formerly trained by Godolphin, Animalia took up the running in his first start for Matt Dale at Canberra last month and hit the line well to beat a decent field of horses. This is a step up in class, but he’s been a proven performer in far tougher races previously and can make it two-in-a-row.
