Bigtime Bronx has really been building to something and finds himself in a very winnable race at Hatrick this afternoon. The two-year-old was luckless two and three starts back, but she absolutely flew home in the straight to finish a half-length second over this trip at Wanganui last time out, and faces a step back in class into this race.
Bigtime Roll has been a strong and consistent performer recently and is good enough to fight out the finish of the ninth at Hatrick today, at a nice price. The daughter of Fabregas hit the line well to finish second only four days ago, and she’ll appreciate what also looks a small step back in class. She’s over the odds at her current price ($7 at publish).
Kihael Koalmina is seeking a third-consecutive win at Richmond tonight and will take a power of beating again. The Oaks Road three-year-old displayed an outstanding sprint late to swallow up his rivals with complete ease at Bathurst last time out and a repeat of that performance would see him right in the finish of this. His form from Box 1 is great and he does look the one to beat.
Turbo Fusion is a dog that is capable of a high rating performance on his day and he looks well and truly over the odds in betting for the last at Richmond tonight ($26 at publish). The two-year-old has finished on the winner’s heels at his three most-recent starts and will appreciate the small rise in trip that he’s offered tonight. With a couple of odds-on chances in this field, he’s worth an each-way look.
