The Bash Is Back

Season 8 of the Big Bash is officially underway tonight and we’re set for a thrilling contest between the Brisbane Heat and the reigning champion Adelaide Strikers at the Gabba. As the competition’s most successful team, the Perth Scorchers remain the $5 favourite to secure another title in 2018/19.

No Summer Vacation

You’d be forgiven for thinking we were still amidst a major racing carnival on the east coast, as the quality of racing today is outstanding. There are strong cards set to run at Caulfield and Doomben, as well as Wyong today, while the West Coast is also still going strong with a meet slated for Ascot.

The Regal Touch

Widely considered the best college basketball team currently going around, Duke will play host to Princeton in the NCAAB this morning. The Blue Devils boast two of top three projected draft picks in and the line for this game is currently set at a whopping 30 points.

Go West

There’s no Group 1 races left on the 2018 Australian racing calendar, but acceptances and a barrier draw are due this afternoon for Saturday’s Group 2 Ted Van Heemst Stakes (2100m) at Perth’s Ascot Racecourse. Group 1 winner Galaxy Star looks the horse to beat again and she’s set to jump the odds-on favourite.
