The Eagles will host the Redskins in the NFL’s final Week 13 fixture and I am confident that the home side will cover a line currently set at 6.5 points. They’ve started as favourites in ten of eleven games so far this season and they should have little issue to containing a decimated Redskins offensive line today, particularly given how potent the Eagles’ pass rush has been. They can open a lead early and will be hard to reel in.
Two Week 14 winners and this looms as a great opportunity for both West Ham and Cardiff. I gave Cardiff virtually no hope of beating the talented Wolves side last week, but they put together their best performance of the season to win and a repeat of that effort would find them difficult to beat again. It is tough imagining them stringing two together, however and I’m happy to back the Hammers.
There’s a huge class difference between these two clubs and I am more than happy to continue riding City. They’ve conceded only six goals all season and it’s hard imagining them being troubled too much by the Hornets, who are staring down the barrel of three-consecutive losses. City have really made a habit of putting big scores on opponents like this all season and it could be a long night at the office for Watford.
Two of the league’s best teams are in action today and I am confident that both Tampa Bay and Nashville will record wins in their respective NHL fixtures. The Lightning lead the way in the Atlantic Division and should be too good for the Devils. The Predators will need to be at their best to overcome the Sabres, but Buffalo have lost two on the trot and are lacking confidence.
