It’s first versus ninth when the Glory travel to New Zealand on Sunday this afternoon. Wellington’s positive start to the season is well and truly in the rear-view mirror and they are now looking down the barrel of a fourth-consecutive defeat. Perth meanwhile are undefeated after five matches and are sitting pretty at the top of the table. I can’t see any real reason why they’ve been priced as generously as they have, and I am more than happy to take the $2.25 on offer for them to win.
The first of two London Derbies tonight, but the difference in quality between Chelsea and Fulham is huge and the home side should be winning easily. The Cottagers simply have not been able to make an impression on the league in their first season back in England’s top-flight and while they did record a rare win last weekend, this is surely too great a task.
The 10-1 Rams enter this one fresh off their bye, after beating the Chiefs in one of the games of the season so far. QB Jared Goff was again excellent, throwing for 413 yards and 4 scores in a match-winning performance. RB Todd Gurley has also been fantastic so far, totalling a shade under 1500 yards and 17 touchdowns from scrimmage. In Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, Goff has one of the premier receiving duos in the league to throw to. I’m confident they’ll be too good for the misfiring Lions and they can cover a line currently set at 9.5 points.
