The Bullets have found some serious form and will be confident of carrying that past the 36ers in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon. A three-point win over Melbourne at home first-up last week was consolidated in the reverse leg when they delivered the reigning premiers a 16-point thrashing in front of the Melbourne faithful. They are flying high and alongside Perth, they are probably the formed team of the competition. It hasn’t been the best start to a campaign on record for Adelaide and they enter this game sixth on the ladder, and off the back of a loss to Illawarra. The line looks very achievable for the Bullets at only 2.5 points.
Regardless of form, the Sydney Derby is always an outstanding fixture and tonight’s edition should be no exception to that rule. Sydney FC were given a real wake-up call by the lowly Phoenix last weekend, while the Wanderers returned to winning form by beating the Mariners. The Sky Blues hold bragging rights after winning this match earlier in the season, but I’m happy to sit on the fence this time around.
Its been a big week in the NHL and there’s plenty of value on offer in betting this morning. The Pittsburgh Penguins look well position to return to winning form, at the expense of the Boston Bruins. The Golden Knights have steadily built to the task this season and can make it three in a row when they travel to Jersey.
