Randwick: Race 2 (3:45pm AEDT)
No. 2 Maid Marilyn

Maid Marilyn was far too good for a Class 2 field at Newcastle last time out and she can go on with the job in the second at Randwick today. The Stratum mare ran second amongst quality company at her first two starts this time, but her last-start win suggested that she has found peak fitness and she does have a class edge over the lion’s share of her six rivals this afternoon.

Lismore: Race 6 (4:05pm AEDT)
No. 3 House Of Drama

House Of Drama failed to fire on the Gold Coast first-up, but she has a big class edge over her rivals at Lismore today and looks the one to beat. The Real Saga mare was a strong and consistent performer for Michael Costa through autumn and winter this year and finished outside the places only once in seven competitive appearances. The 1500m today looks ideal and she is drawn ideally in barrier 4.

Randwick: Race 6 (6:15pm AEDT)
No. 7 All Too Royal

Victorian raider All Too Royal has been in outstanding form this time and will be difficult to beat in the sixth at Randwick this evening. The All Too Hard gelding was a dominant winner of his first two starts this time, including a decent 1000m sprint at Mornington early last month. He just missed when pipped on the line on the Kensington course last time out and has the opportunity to atone from a good draw and with James McDonald aboard today.

Moonee Valley: Race 1 (6:30pm AEDT)
No. 2 Beerz With Clint

Beerz With Clint has produced several good performances and results this time and looks well placed to break his maiden at The Valley this evening. The Written Tycoon gelding hit the line well to finish second two and three starts back and placed a credible fourth at this track and distance last time out. He’s drawn ideally tonight in barrier 2 and will be ridden by champion hoop Damien Oliver. This is his opportunity.
