Old foes Adelaide and Perth will do battle in the A-League this afternoon and I am confident the away side can take the spoils. This Glory outfit really appear to be build to something this season and delivered the Victory a smart 3-2 defeat two weeks ago before returning home to beat the Roar. Adelaide has been competitive, but I am happy to take the value on offer for their rivals in head-to-head betting this week.
There’s a pretty noticeable difference in form between the Illawarra Hawks and Perth Wildcats currently and I am confident that latter will cover a line currently set at only 1.5 points this evening. The Hawks have certainly been better than their early wooden spoon favouritism suggested, and they’ll take plenty of confidence into this gam after beating Melbourne at home on Thursday night, but the 6-1 Wildcats are another step up in class and they’ll require a season-best performance to compete.
The Browns started this campaign in competitive form, but that has sharply tailed off and they face another big task in the form of the Falcons early tomorrow morning. The Falcons have not enjoyed their best start to a season, but they have been steadily building to the task recently and are offered a great opportunity at a win here. The Browns defence really do not look to stand much chance of containing an impressive Falcons offence and the travelling side can cover a small line currently set at only 4.5 points.
