Adelaide 36ers vs Illawarra Hawks (2:50pm AEDT)
Hawks at the Line (+6)

Adelaide have not enjoyed the best start to a season on record and will have their hands fill with the Hawks again this afternoon. Illawarra were widely expected to win this spoon this year, but they have already recorded several good performances and results and will be confident of winning this after beating reigning champions Melbourne last week. I can’t see why Adelaide have been priced as short as they have, and the Hawks are certainly good enough to cover a line currently set at 6 points.

Cairns Taipans vs Perth Wildcats
Wildcats at the Line (-2.5)

The bottom-placed Cairns Taipans are charged with facing the league-leading Wildcats this afternoon and I am extremely confident that the away side will win. Its has been a tough start to the season for the Taipans who carry a 1-6 record into this game, while the Wildcats are 7-1. These clubs are classes apart currently and the line looks miniscule at only 2.5 points.

Australia vs South Korea (7:50pm AEDT)
Draw ($3.20)

Suncorp Stadium will host two of Asia’s best as the Socceroos go toe-to-toe with South Korea in a friendly. Australia were gallant at the recent World Cup without winning a match, but their dominant performance to beat Kuwait 4-0 last month is sure to have done plenty for the confidence of this side. South Korea beat Germany at the World Cup and have since recorded wins over Costa Rica and Uruguay most notably. They are a live chance of winning, but this does looks like a match that is likely to end in a draw.
