Our Red Sox line bet saluted in Game 1 of the World Series yesterday and I am confident that they will repeat that effort and result today. The Sox looked in control from the outset and ultimately cruised to a 4-1 win at Fenway Park. They will field an almost identical team today and I am happy to continue riding this train until proven otherwise.
As expected, the Lightning have flown from the barriers and they can continue their dominance with a win over the similarly-formed Avalanche this afternoon. 5-2 is how the leger reads for Tampa Bay so far and they enter this morning’s road trip off the back of an easy win over the Blackhawks. The Avalanche have arguably had an easier run in the lead-up to this match and will face a stern task here.
The 4-4 Golden Knights host the 5-4 Canucks in Vegas this afternoon and there is plenty of value around the away team in head-to-head betting. Not a lot was expected of the popular Canadian franchise prior to the season commencing, but they’ve produced a few typically strong performances and results and will be eager to respond after a loss at home against the reigning champions. Vegas aren’t nearly as potent as they were last season and I am happy to take them on.
The Bullets will host the undefeated Wildcats at the Brisbane Convention Centre tonight and I believe they stand little chance of winning. Brisbane began their season with a thrilling win over the Breakers in New Zealand, but they have since been unable to take anything from two games and face their hardest task to date in the form of the Wildcats, who have been destroying their opposition. A line currently set at only 4.5 points looks miniscule.
