This should be a terrific contest and there’s value around both teams in head-to-head betting, but I’m confident that the Blues can secure their first win of the season. St Louis were unlucky to go down in extra time to the Blackhawks on Sunday, in what was an absolute goal-fest and they had clearly taken plenty of benefit from their first-up hit out with the Jets.
The Giants will host the Eagles in New York this morning and I am confident that we’ll see plenty of touchdowns. Both offenses harbour the talent necessary to put up points and each franchise has also displayed key weaknesses in defence. Given that the game total line is currently set at 44 points, it looks widely expected that plenty of TDs will be recorded.
The Hawks will launch their campaign against reigning champions Melbourne and will be quietly confident of a good result after securing several good offseason signing. Surprisingly, the Hawks are $3 to record the most losses during the 2018/19 NBL season but have bolstered their ranks well and they simply cannot be underestimated. I’m tipping Melbourne to slowly build to the task again this season and they might prove a little vulnerable first-up.
