A couple of NFC powerhouses are in action this morning when the undefeated Rams host the Vikings in LA. Having nearly won through to the Super Bowl last season, the Vikings are 1-1-1 through the first three weeks of the current campaign and enter this game after suffering one of the biggest upset defeats in recent memory, at the hands of the lacklustre Buffalo Bills. The Rams really do look like a great chance of a playoffs berth this season, but they could have their hands full with a Vikings outfit that will be desperate to respond.
Bernard Tomic showed plenty of resilience to come back from Match Point down to win at the Chengdu Open on Wednesday and I am confident that the enigmatic Australian can win again this afternoon. He’s made the headlines for the wrong reasons several times this year, but Tomic has produced a few decent performances of late and won the ATP Challenger event in Mallorca earlier this month, most notably. Augur Aliassime certainly isn’t the best player that he has lined up opposite this year and Tomic can continue his run of form in Malaysia.
Daily Three-Leg Multi
There’s plenty of exciting MLB action to take us into the weekend and hopefully we can see home a three-leg multi. The Cubs and Pirates have contested a great series so far, but the home side will field a strong outfit today and will be tough to beat. The Indians are on the short road to another playoffs campaign and should be too good for the Royals, even in Kansas. The Mariners have the late game and have been a class above the Rangers this season.
