Think Free has only made one appearance at the races previously, but she is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from the hit-out and can break her maiden amongst relatively weak company at Tamworth this afternoon. The So You Think filly was settled towards the tail of the field first-up three weeks ago and mustered a reasonable turn of foot to finish third. Andrew Gibbons has plenty of options from the rails draw today and the filly should prove tough to beat.
Sweet Love will make her competitive debut at Tamworth this afternoon and while it’s understandable hard to know how she will perform, she has trialled extremely well and has the pedigree to suggest that she’ll be hard to beat. By Dundeel and out of multiple black type winner Sharnee Rose, Sweet Love has continued to improve through a handful of trials since March and has shown plenty of promise on Good and Soft tracks. She’s drawn ideally and worth consideration for a bet at her current each-way odds.
Signorelli has shown ability through her two career starts to date and looks ready to break her maiden at Moe this afternoon. The Not A Single Doubt mare was sent for a break after she weathered a tough run on debut in January but resumed for a close-up fourth over 1000m at Pakenham a fortnight ago and is sure to have stripped fitter. She’s drawn well and has the advantage of Ben Melham in the saddle.
Miss Wicked Nicci has found decent form this time in and looks well and truly over the odds at her current double-figure quote ($12/$3.70 at publish). The Nicconi mare worked home well to finish fourth at Newcastle first-up and while she did turn in a rare lacklustre performance second-up, has since finished right on the heels of the winner at her two most-recent starts. The short, sharp distance will be ideal and she will give them something to chase with a light weight in tow.
