Randwick: Race 2 (12:50pm)
No. 3 Neutrality

Neutrality finished second behind the talented colt Graff first-up and will be extremely difficult to beat in the Heritage Stakes this afternoon. The Sebring colt has only made three appearances at the races since debuting in November, but he has continued to improve for his efforts and won’t be offered a better opportunity to most a maiden black type win. He can take up the running in this small field and will prove extremely difficult to run down.

Flemington: Race 3 (1:40pm)
No. 5 Cliff's Edge

Cliff’s Edge will strip fitter into his second-up task this afternoon and looks over the odds at his current price ($10 at the time of publish). The Canford Cliffs colt is a multiple black type winner and hit the line well to finish second in the Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes at this track and distance, at this point of his autumn preparation. He will require plenty of improvement but can take up the running from the rails draw and will give them something to chase.

Flemington: Race 8 (4:50pm)
No. 3 Native Soldier

The Danehill Stakes has drawn a smart field of three-year-olds, but I am confident that Native Soldier can continue his impressive run of form by winning. The Sepoy colt ended his autumn campaign with a smart run for third in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m) in February and tuned-up nicely when third in the Group 3 Vain Stakes (1100m) in mid-August. He delivered a smart field a resounding defeat in the Group 3 McLachlan Stakes (1200m) two weeks ago and should only improve from the run.

Randwick: Race 9 (5:10pm)
No. 12 Eawase

Eawase is a horse with plenty of ability and she can salute in the last at Randwick today. The Sebring filly resumed in last autumn to break her maiden over this track and distance before completing a successful step up to black type company by winning the Listed Bill Carter Stakes (1200m) with complete ease in May. Trainers Peter & Paul Snowden elected to scratch Eawase from a weaker race than this mid-week and she’ll carry only 53kgs this afternoon.
