Round 21 of the AFL will get underway with a bit of a mismatch between the Dons and Saints at Etihad tonight, and the former can keep the pressure on the top eight by registering a high-scoring win. Essendon were outstanding in their win over the Swans two weeks ago and are unlucky not to be carrying winning form into this game after a last-gasp loss to the Hawks in Round 20. Its been another pretty forgettable season for St Kilda, who were delivered another heavy loss last weekend, this time by the Western Bulldogs.
We are set for an absolute blockbuster between the Rabbitohs and Roosters tonight and the former can consolidate their position on top of the table by winning. Its been a truly outstanding return to form for the Bunnies in 2018 and they boast one of the most lethal attacks in the league, spearheaded by an impressive spine and a big, mobile forward pack. The return of Greg Inglis is imminent and that will only bring them on further. The Roosters have also been excellent recently and are within a win of the Rabbitohs in overall standings. Star centre Latrell Mitchell has been scoring for fun since the Origin period and he can get over for another one tonight.
Manchester United will welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford for the first Premier League fixture of the season and we could be set for plenty of goals, as both sides attempt to make an early impression. United have not made much of an impact on the trade market, but they boast some outstanding attackers and it could be a long night at the office for Kasper Schmeichel. Leicester City will do everything in their power to feed prolific goal scorer Jamie Vardy, at the other end of the pitch.
Daily Three-Leg Multi
We pulled off another great three-leg multi yesterday and will look to roll that into another three MLB fixtures – combining all of the Yankees, Red Sox and Astros to win their respective games. The Yankees have been terrific of late and can begin their series with the Rangers with a win. The Sox hold a ten-game buffer over the Yankees in the AL East and should be too good for the Blue Jays in Toronto this morning. The Astros will likely have too much firepower for the falling Mariners.
