Best Bets
Russia v Turkey
Russia to win ($2)

In the countdown to hosting one of the biggest sporting events in the world, Russia will be hoping to build some positive momentum when they take on Turkey. The Russians have been unable to get a positive result from their last six games and are coming off a loss to Austria. Turkey struggled in World Cup qualification and Russia have been able to edge Turkey in their previous two clashes. I’m backing Russia to grind out a close win and head into the World Cup group stage with some confidence.

San Francisco Giants v Arizona Diamondbacks
Giants to win ($1.80)

The Giants have been showing some good signs of consistency and are coming off a 6-1 victory over the Phillies at home. While the Diamondbacks are currently sitting in first place of the NL West Standings, the Giants have been in excellent form at AT&T Park. Derek Holland has been pencilled in to take the mound for San Francisco in their opening game against the Diamondbacks and the home ground advantage should give them the edge in an entertaining clash.

Best Outsider

Washington Capitals v Vegas Golden Knights
Knights to win ($2.55)

The Stanley Cup battle continues with the Capitals hosting the Knights in game four of the Series in Washington. The Capitals have been able to claw their way back into series, with an away win in Vegas and backing up at home with a gripping win in game three of the series. Washington are two wins away from lifting the Stanley Cup and a win at home in game four would put some real pressure on the Knights to perform at home. The Knights will be wanting to bounce back and play a high-intensity offence, after struggling in the third game of the series. This promises to be an entertaining clash and the Knights are good enough to keep their fairytale alive and I’m backing the Knights to square the series before heading back to Vegas for game five.

Daily Three-Leg Multi
Thiem, Djokovic, Afghanistan to win
Combined Odds @ $3.42

Afghanistan will be looking to take an unbeatable lead against Bangladesh in the second game of their three-match T20I series. Adelaide Strikers star Rashid Khan was the star for Afghanistan in the opening game, becoming the second player to notch 50 wickets in the format. With Bangladesh struggling to find answers to Afghanistan’s spin attack, the Afghani side should record back-to-back victories. In the French Open former champion, Novak Djokovic takes on Italian Marco Cecchinato in the quarter-finals. The former world number one was back to his devastating best with a straight-sets victory over Fernando Verdasco. Number two seed Alexander Zverev will clash with Austrian Dominic Thiem in what promises to be an entertaining battle between two players who could challenge Nadal for the title.
