Best Bets
North Melbourne v Brisbane Lions
Nth Melbourne to win 1-39 points ($2.10)

The Kangaroos have continued to surprise the competition and Brad Scott’s men currently occupy fifth place on the AFL ladder. Ben Brown currently leads the competition for the Coleman Medal and the North Melbourne spearhead will be looking to extend his lead at the top of the table against a flimsy Lions defence. Brisbane have a poor record at Etihad Stadium, winning one of their last seven games. I’m backing the Kangaroos to get the job done against a Brisbane side that has struggled to find any real form on the road in Melbourne.

Adelaide Crows v GWS Giants
Crows to win 1-39 points ($2.05)

Despite their 91-point hammering at the hands of the Demons last week, the Crows remain inside the top eight and will need to rebound from their poor performance last round. The Giants have been decimated by injuries this season and are in real danger of missing another chance for another shot at their maiden Grand Final appearance. The Crows have been able to get the better of the Giants in their recent clashes at the Adelaide Oval and the home side should be able to take advantage and grind out a comfortable win.

Best Outsider
Washington Capitals v Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas Golden Knights ($2.60)

The Knights continue to surprise the competition and the series moves to Washington, with both sides winning one game apiece. The postseason has seen the visiting team dominate in the postseason and the Knights will be confident of edging the Capitals in what is sure to be a physical clash in the third game of the series. The Capitals have momentum on their side and I’m backing the Knight to win game three in Washington.

Best Three-Leg Multi
Brazil, Spain, Dominic Thiem to win
Combined Odds @ $3.22

Brazil continues their World Cup preparations without star man Neymar as they Croatia in England. Phillipe Coutinho makes first return to Anfield since his move from the Reds to Barcelona. The former Liverpool playmaker will be hoping for a strong performance as Brazil will be desperate to atone for his side’s poor effort at the 2014 tournament. Spain will be playing their final game at home when they take on Switzerland before heading to Russia. Spain are one of the favourites for the tournament and have been in outstanding form in the lead-up to the main event. In Paris, Dominic Thiem is back on court at Rolland Garros, taking on Japanese star Kei Nishikori. Expect the Austrian to advance in straight sets and challenge Nadal for the title.
