Fighting Harada has shown plenty of ability during his short career to date and finds himself in another very winnable race at Sandown this afternoon. The Fighting Sun colt made an impressive transition to black type company when fourth in the Listed Redoute’s Choice Stakes (1200m) on April 28th, before breaking his maiden with complete ease over 1400m at Sale last time out. He’ll take a forward position from a central draw and looks to have a class edge over his rivals today.
The Team Hawkes-trained Tell Me will make her third career appearance at Canterbury this afternoon and is primed to break her maiden. The Choisir filly finished fifth in the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m) on debut in February and returned from a freshen-up for third over this course and distance a fortnight ago after flying home late. The wide draw shouldn’t be too much of a concern as she’ll settle off the pace anyway and she’ll take plenty of benefit into this race.
Walk The Streets ran well for fourth after a long lay off and will take plenty of benefit of benefit into her second-up target this afternoon. The Street Cry mare does not win out of turn, but she’s been extremely consistent through her ten career starts and is drawn to do no work this afternoon. Kerrin McEvoy takes the ride, Walk The Streets gets a great relief in the weights and she can be right in the finish of this race.

The Bel Esprit gelding incredibly will be having his 99th start this afternoon, but he wound back the clock with a smart run for third over 1500m at Sandown last time out. He’s drawn well and will enjoy a big relief in the weights.
