Port Macquarie: Race 1 (12:30pm)
No. 12 Kristensen

Kristensen is ready to peak third-up today and finds himself in a very winnable race at Port Macquarie. Formerly saddled by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the son of Sebring is sure to have taken plenty of benefit from his last start run for fourth over 1215m at Coffs Harbour, following a tough run on-pace; his first for Ben Smith. He won’t be offered a better opportunity to break his maiden.

Geelong: Race 2 (1:30pm)
No. 3 Kid Mac

Kid Mac is another horse that has been racing in good and consistent form this time and he looks over the odds at his current quote to win Race 2. The Monde Bleu gelding finished second in a pair of 1100m sprints at Penola and on the Geelong turf track, before dropping back to 1000m to finish third last time out. The rise in trip looks to suit and he’ll be given a good ride by Brad Rawiller.

Wyong: Race 6 (3:15pm)
No. 3 Florid

Florid will enjoy a return to soft going at Wyong this afternoon and is a live chance of saluting at great odds. The Godolphin runner resumed for a close-up second behind Wander at Hawkesbury, before running fifth in a 1200m race at Warwick Farm last time out. This looks to be a step back in class from that race and he has the added bonus of Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.

Geelong: Race 8 (4:30pm)
No. 10 Once Upon A Dream

Once Upon A Dream has failed to miss a start at her six most-recent appearance and can return to the winner’s stall at Geelong today. The Dream Ahead filly ran second over 1100m at Werribee on April 19th before delivering a decent field a comfortable defeat on the synthetic Pakenham course on May 10th. She ran second behind the good horse Cath’s Village on the turf at Geelong last time and will enjoy a return to the synthetic today. She’s drawn and weighted to win.
