Citizen’s Arrest will carry plenty of benefit into her second-up run this afternoon and probably won’t be offered a better opportunity to break her maiden. The Time Thief mare trialled fairly in the lead-up to her racing return and racing on well to finish fourth over this trip at Kembla Grange. This looks like an easier race and she can find a position closer to the pace today from an inside draw.
Eira has drawn ideally into Race 3 at Pakenham this afternoon and looks to have a class edge over his rivals in the mile hit-out. The Makfi gelding took a couple of starts to shake off the cobwebs this time, but hit the line well to third over this track and distance last time out. Damien Oliver can tuck the horse in just behind the speed from his central draw before calling on his turn of foot.
Arnault has not been seen at the races since January, but she looks to have a fair amount of talent and can salute first-up at Tamworth today. The daughter of Fastnet Rock was caught wide and off-pace in her debut at Kembla and battled to the line fairly, but she is sure to have taken benefit from the experience and has drawn well into this field.

Divine Red has returned to racing in competitive form this time and is over the odds to win Race 9 at Pakenham today. The Burgundy gelding has only missed a place a handful of times throughout his career and ran on well to finished third over 1100m first-up at Kilmore this time, before another decent performance for second in a Geelong sprint second-up. He’s ready to peak in form today and has the ability to overcome a wide draw.
