each way
Ipswich: Race 3 (1:12pm)
No. 12 Hi My Girl

Hi My Girl was only fair to the line on the Gold Coast first-up, but she’ll take plenty of benefit into Race 2 at Ipswich today. The daughter of Publishing was forced to settle back after drawing wide and clearly needed the run when she failed to make much ground late. She’s drawn ideally to get a run closer today from the rails and can fight out the finish with only 54kgs in tow.

Ipswich: Race 6 (3:04pm)
No. 13 Keep Your Roses

Keep Your Roses is another horse that will take plenty of improvement into her second-up run this afternoon. The Love Conquers All filly ran on well to finish third at Toowoomba first-up and will enjoy a relief in the weights this afternoon. She’s drawn ideally and her second-up record is great; she was a strong winner at Doomben at this point of her last preparation.

Ipswich: Race 7 (3:42pm)
No. 10 Vienna Moon

Vienna Moon has been racing extremely well this time in and finds herself in a very winnable race at Ipswich this afternoon. Vienna Moon has been right in the finish of her last four starts and savaged the line for an impressive win on the Sunshine Coast two starts back, before finishing second last time out. She has plenty of early speed and should be able to overcome a wide draw.

Geelong: Race 8 (4:30pm)
No. 9 Amschel

Amschel faces a rise in class at Geelong today, but carries winning form into the race and is drawn and weighted ideally. The Testa Rossa gelding never appeared in doubt when he comfortably took out a maiden race at Pakenham last time and with natural improvement, will be right in the finish again today. In-form hoop Chris Parnham is a bonus and with the Hayes, Hayes & Dabernig polish, he is the horse to beat
