What Will Happen at the Royal Wedding?

History will be made when Prince Harry weds former American actress Meghan Markle this weekend.

All kinds of ‘firsts’ for the British Royal Family will be ticked off on Saturday and the world’s focus will be on Windsor Castle.

To celebrate the royal nuptials, we’ve opened a range of novelty markets including what titles the couple will take, who will turn up to the wedding and what will be served as the main course!

Who Will Attend the Wedding Ceremony?

There is always plenty of speculation surrounding who is invited to and who will attend an event of this calibre.

There are sure to be a few ‘sure things’ amongst this field, including Suits actor Patrick Adams ($1.01), British power couple David & Victoria Beckham ($1.20) and even Harry’s former flame Chelsea Davy ($1.20).

Looking further afield however, and there could be value in an individual like popular Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ($3) or living legend Sir Paul McCartney ($4.50).

For those who hate love, perhaps Donald Trump at $301 is worth consideration.

What Titles Will the Couple Take?

The ceremonial titles taken by the Royal Family always draw plenty of speculation and those that will be taken by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no exception.

The Duke & Duchess of Sussex is our $1.35 favourite, while there has also been some interest for the Duke & Duchess of Clarence ($7) and the Duke & Duchess of Monmouth ($9).

Looking wider, and the Duke & Duchess of Windsor could be over the odds at $26. We’d like to think that the Duke & Duchess of Neds ($101) is on the radar, but betting suggests that it’s already been discarded.

What Will be Served for the Main Course?

The protein that is served as the main course to guests at the Royal Wedding has been kept secret and there is whispers that is still yet to be locked in.

Duck ($2) is often associated with higher dining and subsequently, it’s our market favourite. All the usual suspects of Beef ($3), Lamb ($5) and Chicken ($10) are also in the market.

Should the Royal Couple wish to pay homage to history and King Henry VIII, Pheasant ($13) could prove over the odds.

There’s plenty more Royal Wedding novelty markets available!
