Best Bet
Japan v Ghana
Over 2.5 goals scored ($2.08)

Japan will be looking to fine-tune their game when they clash with Ghana in front of a one-sided home crows in Yokohama. The Samurai Blue ramp up their preparations for their sixth World Cup with the first of three friendly games, with clashes against Switzerland and Paraguay to follow the game against Ghana.

These two sides have clashed five times in the past, with Japan winning their last four games against the Black Stars. Expect a high scoring affair, and I’m backing the home side to come out on top in what should be an entertaining clash.

Middlesex v Hampshire
Hampshire to win ($1.82)

With both of these sides coming off close losses in their previous games, I’m expecting this match-up to be a tight affair. Middlesex lost out to Somerset in their last clash by 53-runs and will be hoping that Aussie all-rounder Hilton Cartwright can return to form.

The Aussie was out for 4 as Steve Finn’s side struggled with the bat. England one-day skipper Eoin Morgan will be hoping for a return to form before a T20I against the West Indies on Friday and Finn will be looking to get back in the Test side with a good performance with the ball. James Vince will lead a Hampshire side that is in form despite a close loss to Kent.

Expect the Royals to be fired-up after a 1-run loss and they should be able to extend their lead at the top of the table with a tough win over Steve Finn’s men.

BEST OUTSIDER
Karen Khachanov v Guillermo Garcia-Lopez
Garcia-Lopez to win ($2.50

Spanish veteran Guillermo Garcia-Lopez is coming off a memorable opening-round victory over 2015 champion Stan Wawrinka. Lopez was able to edge out the former champ in a five-set thriller and open his campaign with a win. Karen Khachanov recorded a straight set win over Austrian Andreas Haider-Maurer. The Spanish veteran has been in on the clay circuit and expect him to pull off another upset victory against his younger Armenian opponent.

Best Three-Leg Multi
Argentina, Stosur, Monfils to win
Combined Odds @ $2.24

Argentina were beaten 6-1 against Spain last time they took the field and the clash with Haiti will allow Jorge Sampaoli’s side to regain some confidence in the build-up to their World Cup campaign.

The World Cup in Russia represents Lionel Messi’s last chance to win football’s biggest trophy. Argentina will field a team that will include Dybala, Higuain and Agüero and will be expecting nothing less than a 5-0 victory.

Gael Monfils will have the Roland Garros crows behind him in his clash with Martin Kilzan. The number 32 seed will be hoping to make deep into the finals of the event in Paris. Aussie Sam Stosur will be hoping to join him after her clash with Yanina Wickmayer. The Aussie has won four of her last five games against Wickmayer and she represents some good value to progress to the next round.
