Two high-profile teams that we won’t be seeing in Russia will go up against each other in a friendly clash in Austria. The Copa-America champions were one of the high-profile casualties who failed to qualify for the 2018 tournament. Romania missed out after finishing fourth in their group behind the likes of Poland and Serbia. These two sides met last year before the Confederations Cup and Chile came out on top 3-2. Expect a similar scoreline this time around and I’m backing Chile to grab the win.

The Sea Eagles will be looking to get a win when they clash with a struggling Cowboys side at home. Manly lost a game against the Raiders they should have won last week and look for Daley Cherry-Evans to have a massive game against Jonathan Thurston. The Cowboys will be without a number of key players with Origin around the corner and I’m backing to turn around their fortunes and record a comfortable win at home against a Cowboys side that is struggling to repeat last year’s success.

The Rays have been in outstanding form over the last two weeks, winning four of their last five games, including a 6-3 win over the Red Sox. The Rays have found a balance with their bullpen after trading Alex Colome and have been able to show some good form across their opening two games against Oakland. I’m backing Tampa Bay to pull off another upset victory against the A’s and jumpstart their season.

Serena Williams made the headlines for her catsuit outfit in her second-round win and will face-off against Australian Ashleigh Barty in the third round of the French Open. Williams has looked in ominous form and she should be able to continue her charge to the finals at Roland Garros. Veteran Maria Sharapova will be back on court and should be able to cruise into the next round and expect the Russian to have Williams in her sights as she makes a strong case for the title. The Vegas Knights are back in action in game two of the Stanley Cup and the Vegas side are good enough to build a 2-nil lead in their quest for the silverware in their first season.
