Japanese import Hallelujah Boy has been racing well without the best of luck this time in and he finds himself in a very winnable race at Warwick Farm this afternoon. The son of Tosen Phantom was set for the Provincial Championships Final in April and overcame plenty of traffic to finish a credible fourth. He ran into an in-form Up ‘N’ Rolling at Hawkesbury last time out, but there is no horse of that calibre in this field and the five-year-old will not have a better opportunity to post his first win in Australia.
Medovina has shown above average ability through her short racing career so far and can continue her successful climb through the grades at Warwick Farm this afternoon. The three-year-old ran a credible third over 1200m on debut at Kembla Grange in October and was sent to the paddock after posting a comfortable win over the same trip at Newcastle. She justified her favouritism first-up this time with another respectable performance at Kembla three weeks ago and will only improve off the run. This is undoubtedly her hardest task to date, but there are no superstars in this field and she can finish over the top of her rivals.
Kaching has returned to racing in strong and consistent form this time and is primed for a return to the winner’s stall at Sandown this afternoon. The So You Think gelding won his final start for Aaron Purcell over the Pakenham 1400m course on March 1st and has finished third and second respectively in his two starts since returning to the care of Ciaron Maher. He’s drawn ideally in barrier 6 and should have an easier time in transit than his biggest rival, Think Babe, who has drawn outside. This looks like perfect placement and he’ll be tough to beat.

Laussel will carry excellent form into Race 4 at Warwick Farm today and looks over the odds at her current quote. The Animal Kingdom filly resumed this time for a smart win over 1400m at Newcastle, before a credible performance for third behind Seaway at Canterbury a fortnight ago. Kerrin McEvoy will be able to take a position behind the speed from an inside draw and third-up, the filly should be right in the finish.
