River Jewel has steadily built to the task this time and is ready to peak third-up at Pakenham this afternoon. The Snitzel filly ran on well for third at Cranbourne last time out without any luck, and from and ideal draw and in a smaller field, should be offered a fat better chance. This company is no harder than anything that she has faced so far this time and she can return to winning form.
Omorose has found great form this time in and finds herself in another very winnable race at Pakenham this afternoon. The So You Think has posted two wins and placing through her four starts this time and absolutely savaged the line for a dominant win at Echuca last time out. She looks to be a 1000m specialist and Tahlia Hope should be able to find clear passage to the pace from her gate.
Let’s Party Marty has been unlucky not to win his two most-recent starts, but can reverse his fortunes on the Sunshine Coast this afternoon. The son of Duporth got his campaign off to a flyer by winning at Ipswich and he has finished second at Doomben and Ipswich most-recently, both behind decent Saturday-grade horses. He looks to be the class horse of this field and with Jeff Lloyd in the saddle, will take plenty of beating.

Former Sydney galloper Raise An Army will make his debut for Stuart Kendrick on the Sunshine Coast this afternoon and looks over the odds at a double-figure quote. The Sepoy gelding failed to miss a place last time in and has form around a number of quality gallopers that have since gone on to bigger things. He absolutely dominated a Sunshine Coast trial leading into this race and with appropriate luck in running from a wide gate, can find his way into the first three, perhaps even win.
