Moonmo has drawn awkwardly into Race 1 at Grafton this afternoon, but she’ll take plenty of benefit into his second-up run here and looks a class above any of her rivals. The Uncle Mo filly has plenty of early speed and she’ll give them something to chase in the straight. This looks like ideal placement.
Gun Bolt failed to fire at Doomben last time back, but takes a big step back in class this afternoon and will be tough to hold out. He has been racing fairly at city grade this time in and is rock hard fit for today’s assignment after four starts. The wide barrier isn’t a concern as he’ll go back regardless and he can finish over the top of his rivals.

Butcher Blue has not been seen at the races for more than a year, but he has typically raced in tougher company than he finds at Grafton today and represents terrific value here. The son of Red Element typically flies fresh and was a smart winner at the Gold Coast first-up last time in. He’s trialled well and on class alone, can be right in the finish of this race.
