Race 3 - Listed Dequetteville Stakes (1050m)
No. 4 Let Me Sleep On It (Each Way)

Let Me Sleep On ($14) It is yet to break her maiden, but she has shown terrific ability throughout her short racing career to date and she is primed for a big performance third-up on Saturday.

The daughter of Manhattan Rain resumed this time for a close second behind Sanglier at Wyong on March 3rd and flew home late to again finish second in a 1000m race at Sandown last time out on the 28th.

The slight increase in trip looks like it will be ideal for Let Me Sleep On it and the wise draw is no concern, given that she will settle off pace regardless. She brings a different form line into this race than several of her local rivals and she looks to be over the odds at her current quote.

Race 4 - Hughes Limousines Handicap (1200m)
No. 3 Handsome Thief

Victorian raider Handsome Thief ($3) will take winning form into Race 4 on Port Adelaide Guineas Day and looks extremely difficult to beat.

The Shamardal gelding has been a strong and consistent performer in Saturday sprint races in Melbourne this year; placing in three of four starts before producing a particularly dominant performance to win the Geoff Murphy BM84 (1200m) by more than three lengths a fortnight ago.

Master trainer Darren Weir is terrific at placing his horses in the right races and Handsome Thief will find himself in a very winnable position again on Saturday.

Race 7 - Listed Port Adelaide Guineas (1800m)
No. 6 Leicester

Darren Weir could have a massive day at Morphettville on Saturday and he can win the feature race with Leicester ($2.45).

Leicester has posted two wins and as many minors through only six career starts to date and has found particularly good form leading into his debut at black type level here. The son of Wanted delivered a smart field a resounding defeat over a mile at Sandown on March 14th, before running second in his first attempt at 1800m a fortnight ago.

This is the perfect race for Leicester and he can stamp himself as a live South Australian Derby chance by winning the Port Adelaide Guineas.

Race 8 - Sepoy At Darley Victoria Handicap (1200m)
No. 8 Comfortable (Each Way)

Comfortable is yet to taste anything but success since transferring to the care of Ryan Balfour and he can continue his winning run of form through the final race on Port Adelaide Guineas Day.

Previously prepared by Gerald Ryan, the Foxwedge gelding won a 1100m sprint at Gawler by nearly three lengths first-up on March 7th, before beating a field of City horses over 1250m a week later.

Comfortable has the notable advantage of Jamie Kah in the saddle on Saturday and with the appropriate luck from a wide draw, can salute at each-way odds.
