Run over 2,000 metres each year in late March as part of Tancred Stakes Day, the Tulloch Stakes is a Group 2 race contested by a gun field of three-year-old colts and geldings eyeing a run in the Group 1 ATC Derby (2400m) at Randwick over ‘The Championships’.

The Tulloch Stakes – Australian Derby double meanwhile has recently been completed by Jon Snow (2017), Levendi (2018), Angel Of Truth (2019), and Quick Thinker (2020).
Note: In 2022 the Tulloch Stakes ran over 1850m at Newcastle the Monday after the washed-out Rosehill meeting.
